"Chris, I was in trouble, and you were the only person I knew to call. I knew you could help me." Gary, Business Owner, Veteran
At the end of the day, I just want to do what I can to help others.
Certified Public Accountant
I am from Princeton, Kentucky and graduated from Caldwell County High School in 1991. Originally I wanted to study law and when I graduated from Murray State University in 1996, I had accumulated over 150 hours, which qualified me to sit for the CPA Exam.
I commenced my accounting career at Apex Engineering Inc. in Calvert City, Kentucky in 1995 where I was interning and shortly after becoming the controller followed my heart and moved to Nashville to marry Melanie.
After working as an accountant in Nashville at Elan-Polo, in 1999 I followed my heart again and joined my uncle in Clarksville to manage multiple business investments including my own consulting firm.
My experience in a variety of businesses, managing employees, and working with banks and government agencies has afforded me a unique skill set in regards to financing, negotiation, compliance, tax resolution, and problem solving.
As my tax practice expanded in 2012, it opened new doors to work with families in the area of financial planning. One of my favorite things to do during tax season is visit elderly clients and sit at the kitchen table preparing taxes over a glass of homemade lemonade and cookies.
